Through the use of a powerful telescope offering top-tier optical performance, a specialized telescope projection system, as well as an open dialogue with the audience, participants will be able to see up close fantastic objects in our sky.

Learn a unique style of starry-night-sky landscape photography & astrophotography from Maxwell Palau and his guest associates. Meet-ups vary from local hikes, lectures and photo walks to location workshops & campouts. Workshops vary from overnight location shoots in Southern California — to multi-day workshops in various locations in the southwestern part of the US & the Baja California Peninsula.

ABOUT STARDUDE
His passion for all things space and science began when he was a kid. He grew up watching Star Trek with his dad. Together they would go out camping and spend hours just looking up at the sky, talking about the stars and the wonders that lie beyond. That fascination for astronomy continued on through college where he pursued a degree in Astrophysics & Observational Astronomy.
All that led to the formation of StarDude Astronomy. Since 2012, Maxwell F.X. Paláu has delivered the wonder and mystery of the cosmos to audiences around Southern California ― through his celestial photography, public lectures and workshops, unique night sky tours and his exciting astronomical enrichment trips to some of the best dark sky locations in Southern California.
